DRIVER ROLE BASED IN CAPE TOWN (FIXED TERM)

The Driver will be responsible for transferring flight staff between training venues, airport, accommodation, and other approved locations during their time in Cape Town. Additionally, on ad-hoc basis, provide transfer services to one of our partners’ guests.

THE ROLE

• Safely and responsibly transfer staff/guests to and from their destinations in a timely manner.
• Provide a high level of customer service including assisting staff/guests with getting in and out of the vehicle, loading and unloading luggage and opening doors
• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle, both inside and out
• Adhere to ALL traffic laws and regulations
• Keep track of maintenance schedules and inform management of any issues with the vehicle.
• Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanour
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion of guest information

 

THE PERSON, REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Proven track record and outstanding ability to be client facing (polished, confident, able to engage at all levels);
• Dynamic personality and able to hold their own with wealthy international clientele
• High level of professionalism
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Experience in international tourism an advantage
• Able to maintain high confidentiality (of our high end clients names and personal information)
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Code 10 licence
• Valid PDP licence
• Previous experience as a chauffeur or professional driver of luxury vehicles
• Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful driving situations
• Punctual and reliable
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
• Fluent in English
