WHITE DESERT FOUNDATION
Building on two decades of White Desert’s unparalleled experience of operating with a very small footprint in the pristine wilderness of Antarctica, this newly established Foundation is committed to tackling climate change on multiple fronts. We are primarily focused on advancing cutting-edge science behind Blue Carbon initiatives, while utilising our extensive infrastructure to support pioneering scientists studying climate change in Antarctica.
White Desert Antarctica covers all the administrative costs of the Foundation, meaning that the Environmental Levy charged to each guest visiting Antarctica directly supports the Foundation’s projects.
