HR ASSISTANT ROLE BASED IN CAPE TOWN
The HR Assistant will be responsible for supporting the HR Ops Partner during season with all Staff related queries, administration, updates, travel and accommodation arrangements.

THE ROLE
- Assisting with logistics pertaining to staff transfers, flights and accommodation
- Extensive communication and coordination between WD and 3rd parties (accommodation, transfers and flights)
- Asist and support staff during training week in Cape Town
- Assist with the coordination, administration and documentation of kit fittings, and return thereof.
- Ensure accuracy and timely preparation of HR and Staff related tasks before and on each flight day.
- Other duties outside of these will be , but within reason
THE PERSON, REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- The person must be passionate about people, the operations of a business and how those 2 topics are intertwined.
- Studied HR or related field (only completed, not still studying)
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative role
- Be able to quickly resolve staff’s problems or escalate it timeously, in line with business rules and HR principles.
- Must be familiar with common HR best practices
- Having good communication and coordination skills is essential for this role
- Be adept in identifying issues and solving people’s problems
- Proven track record and outstanding ability to ensure accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Dynamic personality
- Excellent administrative and organising skills
- Excellent and proven track record of showing strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Able to confidently use computer software (Excel, Outlook)
- Agile, unflustered, manages stress well
- Able and willing to work outside of normal hours (e.g. nights, weekends)
- Has own car and clean drivers’ license
- South African national and based in Cape Town (not negotiable)
- Fluent in English
GENERAL
