Whichaway Camp Relaunch

While most of Antarctica is covered in ice, Whichaway is on a rare rocky outcrop encircled by an enormous cliff of iridescent blue ice. The camp offers a remote yet remarkably comfortable sanctuary for guests in one of Earth’s most extreme environments.

To celebrate the camp’s unique location, White Desert is excited to unveil two exciting upgrades this season.

Glass-Front Conservatories

To further elevate the guest experience, every pod will be fitted with its own glass-front conservatory, framing uninterrupted views of the dramatic ice landscape. This addition offers a warm, protected setting where guests can take in panoramic views of the lake and encircling icefall from the comfort of their own beds.

New Ensuite Facilities

This season, each of our six polar pods will include an ensuite shower and bathroom, offering enhanced privacy and comfort. This brings a new level of convenience to the Antarctic frontier without compromising our commitment to sustainability or design.

The new camp upgrades build on last season’s introduction of the camp’s wellness dome, Finnish sauna, and cold plunge. With limited space still available in the first week of our polar season, you can be the very first guests to enjoy the relaunched camp!
